Upon the release of Hello Neighbor it was hard to see such a gripping and emotional story forming, but it is sometimes through the simplest of things that we are told the most. As with the gameplay the visuals have been kept similar – expect to see striking cartoonish colours popping out of your screen as you play.
Using different items that you will find scattered around will allow you to do so in a much easier, but still tense-as-ever, fashion. Maybe it will be such an emotional story that will truly show who the Neighbour is, and why he now lives a life of isolation and secrecy.īut of course such a trivial game couldn’t be so hard? Think again! Whilst searching within the story of the game you will be constantly deploying stealth tactics similar to the first experience in order to keep hidden from your brother. Through events such as the loss of a beloved family member the once trivial game soon warps into sadistic imaginations, dangerous games, and overall layers upon layers of saddening scenes. Starting out as a simple game of hide and seek between the sister and brother, the terrible events of the game soon start to take their toll on the family. Well, Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek on Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch, may just answer those questions, as it acts as a direct prequel to the original game and explains the Neighbor’s family life before everything seemingly turned bad.
